118.82.1. Contestation by a reconstituted municipality of an amount claimed by the central municipality does not exempt the reconstituted municipality from paying the amount while the contestation is pending.
If payment is not made within 90 days after receipt of a formal notice, the Commission municipale du Québec may, at the request of the central municipality, file an application to have the reconstituted municipality declared in default in accordance with Division VI of the Act respecting the Commission municipale (chapter C-35).
