209.26. Any person whose application for authorization is rejected and any private intervenor whose authorization is withdrawn may, by way of an application, contest the decision before a judge of the Court of Québec.
The contestation must be served beforehand on the returning officer or the chief electoral officer, as the case may be.
The contestation shall be heard and decided by preference. The contestation does not suspend execution of the decision unless the court decides otherwise.
The decision of the judge is final.
