32. The clerk or secretary-treasurer (or person acting as such) of every municipal corporation, and the clerk or secretary (or person acting as such) of any other corporate body (excepting such as are in and by this division excepted) shall on or before the tenth day of January in each year, transmit to the Minister of Municipal Affairs, in duplicate, a return according to form 1, made up to the thirty-first day of December then last past, showing: the name of the municipal corporation, or other corporate body; the amount of its debt, distinguishing the amount of debt incurred under the provisions respecting the municipal loan fund, if any, from the remainder of its debt; the assessed value of the moveable property belonging to such corporation or corporate body, or the assessed value of the moveable and immoveable property of the municipality, or both, as the case may be; the total rates, per dollar, assessed on such last-mentioned property for all purposes; and the amount of interest due by the municipal corporation or other corporate body.
