243. Any deposit in respect of which no transaction has taken place and no statement of account has been requested or acknowledged by the depositor for a period of seven years is an inactive account.
The amount of every cheque, draft or bill of exchange issued, certified or accepted by a credit union and in respect of which no payment has been made for a period of seven years from its date of issue, certification or acceptance is considered to be an inactive account.
