226. The Minister may, at the request of the Community, extend a time period granted by this Act to the Community. The Minister, if he considers it advisable, may grant a new extension on the conditions he determines.

226. Any delay granted by this act to the Community to adopt any measure or to perform any act may be extended for a period not exceeding one year by the Government, upon application by the Community, by an order in council which shall be published in the Gazette officielle du Québec.
