11. The chairman, the vice-chairman and the other members of the executive committee are entitled to the remuneration, allowance and contributory pension, fixed by by-law of the Council and paid by the Community.
The by-law fixing the remuneration or allowance may have effect retroactively to 1 January preceding its coming into force.
The by-law fixing the pension does not apply to a person who participates in the pension plan established under the Act respecting the Pension Plan of Elected Municipal Officers (chapter R-9.3).

The by-law fixing the pension does not apply to any person who avails himself of Division VIII.1 of the Act respecting retirement plans for the mayors and councillors of municipalities (chapter R-16).

11. The chairman and the vice-chairman of the executive committee and the other members of such committee shall be entitled to the remuneration and pension fixed by the Government. However, such remuneration and pension shall be paid by the Community.
The executive committee may authorize the payment of the expenses actually incurred by one of its members on behalf of the Community, provided they have been authorized by such committee.
