34.2. For the purposes of the exercise by the Community of its jurisdiction in a matter referred to in section 84, or a competence conferred on it by the Act respecting municipal taxation (chapter F-2.1), the members of the Council who represent the municipalities required to contribute to the expenses incurred by the Community in the exercise of such competence may vote.

34.2. For the purposes of the exercise of any competence referred to in subparagraphs 2 to 4 of section 84, only the members representing the municipalities required to contribute to the costs of the services provided by the Community may vote.
For the purposes of the exercise of the competence referred to in section 84.2, only the members representing the municipalities governed by the Municipal Code (chapter C-27.1) may vote.
The restrictions set down in the first and second paragraphs do not apply to the chairman’s right to vote.
