118. If the object of the demand is certain and determinate property, it must be described in such a manner as clearly to establish its identity.
If the object of the demand is an immovable, it must be described as prescribed in the Book of the Civil Code on the Publication of rights.

118. If the object of the demand is a thing certain, it must be described in such a manner as clearly to establish its identity.
A corporeal immoveable, situated in a locality where the official plan and book of reference are in force, must be described in accordance with the provisions of article 2168 of the Civil Code; an immoveable situated elsewhere must be described with certainty and precision, by mentioning its nature, the city, town, village, parish or township, street, range or concession wherein it is situated, and also the lands conterminous to it, unless it is known under a particular name, when it is sufficient to give its name and its situation.
Rents constituted for the redemption of seigniorial rights, or rights therein, must be described according to the provisions of sections 35 to 42 of chapter 321 of the Revised Statutes, 1941.
