33. (Repealed).
R. S. 1964, c. 193, s. 30; 1968, c. 55, s. 13; 1987, c. 57, s. 692.
33. The municipality shall be divided into the number of wards prescribed by the charter or by a by-law of the council approved by the Government.
If the municipality is not divided into wards or if the number of wards is less than the number of councillors, the council shall, by by-law, enact that the seat of each councillor be designated by a number and assign to each councillor the number designating his seat.
