44. An arbitration award made following arbitration of a grievance or dispute regarding the negotiation, renewal or review of a collective agreement shall, at the request of one of the parties, be translated into French or English, as the case may be, at the parties’ expense.

44. Where a grievance or dispute regarding the negotiation, renewal or review of a collective labour agreement is the subject of arbitration, the arbitration award shall be drawn up in the official language or be accompanied with a duly authenticated French version. Only the French version of the award is official.
The same rule applies to decisions rendered under the Labour Code by certification agents, labour commissioners and the Labour Court.
