161. The Office shall see to it that French is the normal and everyday language of work, communication, commerce and business in enterprises. The Office may, among other things, take any appropriate measure to promote French.
The Office shall collaborate with the Minister in providing support and assistance to the government departments, government bodies and municipal bodies to which the language policy of the State applies for the performance of the obligations incumbent on them under this Act.

The Office shall help define and develop the francization programs provided for in this Act and monitor their application.

161. The chairman may not, on pain of forfeiture of office, have a direct or indirect interest in an enterprise that places his personal interest and that of the Commission in conflict. However, forfeiture is not incurred if the interest devolves to him by succession or gift, provided it is renounced or disposed of with diligence.
Where a member of the Commission other than the chairman is in the situation referred to in the first paragraph, the member must, on pain of forfeiture of office, disclose his interest in writing to the chairman and refrain from taking part in any discussion or decision involving the enterprise in which the interest is held.
