13. A Cree community or the Naskapi community recognizes a person as one of its members by a resolution approved by a majority of the members of the band council.

13. A Cree community or the Naskapi community recognizes a person as one of its members by a resolution approved by a majority of the members of the band council.
An Inuit community does likewise by a resolution approved by a majority of the members of the board of directors of an Inuit landholding corporation established by the Act respecting the land regime in the James Bay and New Québec territories (chapter R-13.1) or, until such corporation is established, the majority of the members of the existing Inuit community council.
