A-14 - Act respecting legal aid and the provision of certain other legal services
Section 4.8
Versions
4.8. No legal aid shall be granted
(1) to the plaintiff in any defamation or libel case;
(2) for any case relating to an election, public consultation or referendum;
(3) for an application for judicial review under subparagraph 4 of the first paragraph of article 529 and in articles 532 to 535 of the Code of Civil Procedure (chapter C-25.01);
(4) to the plaintiff in any action for damages for breach of promise of marriage or civil union; or
(5) to the plaintiff in any action for damages for alienation of affections.
4.8. No legal aid shall be granted
(1) to the plaintiff in any defamation or libel case;
(2) for any case relating to an election, public consultation or referendum;
(3) for a motion based on Chapter II of Title VI of Book V of the Code of Civil Procedure (chapter C-25);
(4) to the plaintiff in any action for damages for breach of promise of marriage or civil union; or
(5) to the plaintiff in any action for damages for alienation of affections.
4.8. No legal aid shall be granted
