Regulation respecting commissioners for oaths
Courts of Justice Act
(chapter T-16, s. 216).
The amounts prescribed in the Regulation have been indexed pursuant to the notice published in Part 1 (French) of the Gazette officielle du Québec of 25 February 2017, page 266. (s. 2, 3). (Effect from 1 January 2017.)
1. The commission for a person appointed to administer oaths, issued under section 214 or 215 of the Courts of Justice Act (chapter T-16), is valid for a 3-year period.

2. The fees payable for a commission issued under section 214 of the Act to a person residing in Québec to administer oaths in Québec are $56.25 for a first commission and $38.50 for every renewal of the commission.
If the commission also allows for administration of oaths outside Québec, the fees payable are increased by $27.75.

3. The fees payable for a commission issued under section 215 of the Act to a person residing outside Québec to administer oaths in the person’s province, territory or country of residence are $56.25 for a first commission and $38.50 for every renewal of the commission.
If the commission allows for administration of oaths elsewhere than the person’s place of residence, the fees payable are increased by $27.75.
